I had a great experience at Maswik Lodge overall. The location was ideal, and I loved how well-maintained the rooms were. Though the food court offered a decent variety, I found some of the dining options could be improved a bit.

Rooms

The room was clean and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and a lovely small table, which I loved. The decor added a nice touch, but I could have used a couple more outlets for my devices.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating. They quickly helped me change my room assignment when I needed a more accessible option, and I was impressed by their attention to detail.
Location

Being just a short drive from the food court was super convenient, plus the lodge was well spaced and easy to navigate. I appreciated being on the shuttle route to easily access the south rim.
Dining
8.0
The food court had a variety of options, and I enjoyed a great pizza and some delicious Asian wings. While the pizza was average, the ambiance with the TVs was nice for catching the NFL playoffs.
Facilities
8.0
I liked the neat bathroom and the amenities available in the room, like the coffee maker. But I found the lighting to be quite dim at night, so a flashlight from the front desk was handy.

I had a decent stay at Maswik Lodge North, though there were some ups and downs. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the canyon rim and available parking. However, the room felt dated, and some amenities need updating, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms

While my room had a TV and was quiet, it was clearly from the 1970s and needed serious updates. The doorknob was falling off, and the bed was uncomfortable.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, quickly getting me a room after check-in.
Location

The lodge was conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from the canyon rim, which made getting to the stunning views pretty easy.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the food court's fresh offerings, especially the baked stone oven pizza and the breakfast stations, which exceeded my expectations.
Facilities

The lodge had several buildings and plenty of parking, but the dim lighting made navigating at night a bit challenging.

I enjoyed my stay at Maswik Lodge, especially the quiet atmosphere and lovely surroundings, but the distance from the cottage to the main area was a bit challenging at night due to the lack of lighting.

Rooms

My room had two comfortable queen-size beds and was clean and nicely appointed with an antler light. I appreciated the coffee and tea setup in the room too.
Service

The service was decent, and I liked the option to opt out of room service for a small gift, which added a nice touch to my stay.
Location

While the lodge is quiet and has easy access to shuttle buses, the walk to the canyon rim felt a bit far compared to other hotels.
Dining

The dining options in the main house were convenient and offered a variety of choices, though I didn't indulge much since I preferred eating out.
Facilities

The lodge has plenty of parking and well-maintained facilities, making it easy for guests to move around. The large layout with small houses was appealing.

My stay was solid overall. The location was ideal for accessing the park, though the dining options could use improvement. I loved how quiet and peaceful my room was, but the accommodations were a bit inconvenient due to the layout.

My room in the Pinyon Pine was decent, quiet, and had a full channel TV, but I was on the second level with no elevator. It worked for one night, but I wouldn't choose it for longer stays.
Service
6.0
I found the service average, with the food being over-priced and not extraordinary. The shuttle bus was super convenient, which helped despite the lack of amenities.
Location

This lodge is a sweet spot being just a 10-minute walk to the tram that takes you up to the canyon. Plus, there was plenty of parking available, making it easier to explore the park despite the crowds.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were okay, but I felt the food court had average choices and was a bit pricey. I wished there were more local flavors to dive into.
Facilities

The facilities were fine, with everything necessary, though I did wish there was better lighting at night since it’s a dark sky park.

Staying at Maswik Lodge North was a mixed experience for me. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Grand Canyon rim, but I did encounter some hiccups with the service and Wi-Fi. My room was decent with a comfortable bed and a small balcony, but I noticed the Wi-Fi was painfully slow, and some parts of the lodge were quite dark at night. Overall, it was a good place to stay while exploring the park, but there are definitely a few areas that need improvement.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, though the bathroom was just functional. It had a small balcony which was a nice touch.
Service
6.0
I experienced some issues with my reservation, which created some confusion. However, the staff was generally nice and accommodating once I addressed my concerns.
Location
8.0
The lodge's location is unbeatable, just a short walk away from the stunning views of the Grand Canyon.
Dining
7.0
The food was decent and I found some healthy options. Overall, it was tasty enough, but didn't exceed my expectations.
Facilities
6.0
I appreciated the spaciousness of the room and the heating worked well, but the Wi-Fi was extremely slow and there should have been more lighting on the paths.
